Marketplace and deals

Handshake Center helps neighbors discover items, services, and events. We are not a party to deals between users unless we say otherwise. Users are responsible for complying with local laws on sales, taxes, permits, and prohibited goods.

Safety and map content

Safety reports and map posts must be truthful and not used to harass others or impersonate officials. Confidential reports may be shared with verified authorities. False reports may lead to suspension.

Paid features

Some features require payment. Fees, currencies, and payment methods depend on your country. Paid periods are shown before you confirm. Refunds are handled according to applicable law and our posted policies.

Prohibited conduct

• Fraud, scams, stolen goods, or misrepresentation.
• Harassment, hate speech, or threats.
• Fake official or emergency accounts.
• Attempts to bypass security or scrape the service abusively.

Suspension and termination

We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms or pose risk to the community. You may request account deletion from My Account.
